AGBU Hiking on Sunday, November 25
Sturtevant Falls in Arcadia
This is relatively a short hike with great views, the lower part of the canyon features cabins built in the late 1800’s & early 1900’s with no electricity (which some are still inhabited) with surrounding tall trees until we reach the 50 foot waterfall (there’s still trickle of water in the falls) at the destination.
Location: Sturtevant Falls (Arcadia)
Hike distance: 4 miles (roundtrip)
Difficulty: Moderate
Hike duration: 2.5 hours
Parking Fees: $ 5 (per car)
Hike time: 10:00 am
Carpooling is highly recommended due to limited parking spaces.
Directions:
-From I-210 East take the “Santa Anita Ave. Exit”
-Turn Left on Santa Anita Ave. and drive 2 miles until it ends and veers to the right where you will see a gate with a sign “Chantry Flats”
-Enter the gate and drive up the mountain for 3 miles (curvy road) until you reach the end where the parking lot is and park there.
-Go to the “Pack Station & Store” store next to the parking lot and pay for the parking permit, $5.
You can also park on the street BUT you still need a parking permit so get one before you start looking for a parking in the street.

SWING & SALSA
DANCE CLASSES!
Come join the YPs for Dance Classes. Join and learn all the different moves and dance steps.
SALSA classes are continuing for 8 weeks, every Wednesday night beginning on September 20th at the AGBU Center in Pasadena. This is a great opportunity to sign up for Salsa if you missed the first registration.
SWING classes are starting for 8 weeks, every Wednesday night beginning on September 20th at the AGBU Center in Pasadena. You asked for it and you got it…. It’s time to Swing!
Our fabulous instructors, Michael Soohoo and Mary Scanlon, will be teaching the class again!
